Kashmir Singh

After teacher training Kashmir got a teaching position at Rosherville Primary School

Kashmir Singh was born in 1937, and lived in Leicester between 1964 and 1970 and moved to Gravesend in 1971. Kashmir was working in a factory before training to become a teacher. He had problems finding employment when living in Leicester and was once rejected by Midland Buses for wearing a turban. When he moved to Gravesham he got job as a teacher at Rosherville Primary School in Northfleet 1997 – 1987.
