I came to the UK from Vietnam in 1988 and moved to Gravesend three years later. There were hardly any Vietnamese restaurants in London or Gravesend, but now there are many more that sell oriental food. When I first arrived I couldn't buy Vietnamese ingredients anywhere in Gravesend, I had to go to London, but now you can buy them here. I also buy English food for my family now, especially from Marks and Spencer!
